Andren Bejta

Daniel Strauss

The founder of the Hildegard Lagrenne Foundation (HLS), Daniel Strauß has been strategically involved in the foundation's development and expansion since its inception on October 25, 2012. He was elected chairman of the board from the very beginning. Since the start of his civil rights work, Strauß has championed the equal participation of Sinti and Roma. He successfully negotiated a state treaty with the state of Baden-Württemberg on equal terms, addressing the concerns of Sinti and Roma, which was also written in Romani.
