With our services, we promote educational pathways for people with a Romani background, we advise individuals and groups within the communities, and we support associations, organizations, and initiatives of the Sinti and Roma.
Professionalized School Mediation
With the Professionalized School Mediation project, the Hildegard Lagrenne Foundation is taking an important step towards greater educational equity and an anti-racist school culture. The project involves the deployment of a Sinti* school mediator at the primary level of the community school on the Rütli Campus in Berlin-Neukölln and her on-the-job training as a social education assistant.

RomnoPower Clubs: Active for only a few years, they are growing rapidly. Young Sinti* and Roma* meet locally, strengthen their power, self-confidence, assertiveness and support each other.

Club consulting
The Hildegard Lagrenne Foundation advises and coaches associations, newcomers, and initiatives that are active in their communities but often remain largely invisible to the public. The advice ranges from association formation to professional support.

An education and empowerment program for its participants, regular contact with the (adult) advisory board, events for young Sinti* and Roma* in schools, and the preparation of the youth advisory board members for public appearances.
